Vermont voters who plan to return their ballots by mail need to send them out Tuesday to have the best chance of arriving before Election Day, according to the secretary of state’s office.
Those who miss that mailing deadline still have other options. Ballots can be delivered to a town clerk or placed in an official ballot drop box at any point before Election Day.
Voters who are registered and do not mail back their ballots can still cast a ballot in person on Election Day. They may bring their completed ballot to the polls or request a replacement there.
Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 3.
