Officials said the cause of the shooting is still unclear.
Authorities in New Hampshire are still trying to determine what led to a deadly shooting inside a Manchester home Tuesday that left two adults dead and an 8-year-old boy seriously injured.
The Attorney General’s Office said Bianchinies Benny Cruz, 36, fatally shot his wife, Alisha Cruz, 35, inside the family’s home on Wheelock Street before turning the gun on himself. Investigators said the woman was struck multiple times.
The couple’s 8-year-old son was in his bedroom when the gunfire broke out. According to investigators, several rounds passed through the wall and one bullet hit the child in the torso. He remains in serious but stable condition.
Officials said the cause of the shooting is still unclear. Senior Assistant Attorney General Alex Kellermann said investigators are continuing to gather information from relatives, friends and neighbors as they try to piece together what happened.
Police were first sent to the home Tuesday morning, though investigators have not yet said exactly when the shooting occurred.
