Police in Marlborough have obtained a felony burglary warrant for a 56-year-old Rindge woman in connection with a string of break-ins at storage units along Route 12.
Investigators said the case began with a report on Sept. 22, 2026, that several storage units had been forced open and items taken from inside. According to police, the units had been secured with ordinary padlocks rather than the round, hardened locks many storage facilities recommend because they are harder to defeat.
Working with the Winchendon, Massachusetts, Police Department, Marlborough officers identified Jeannette Tyler, 56, of Rindge, as a suspect and secured a warrant for her arrest on a felony burglary charge. Police later said she was thought to be in custody in Massachusetts, but the New Hampshire warrant is still in effect.
Anyone who has information about the thefts or similar incidents is being asked to contact the Marlborough Police Department at 603-876-3311 or email sjnickerson@marlboroughnhpd.gov.
